Organized in four groups: Correspondence, Works of Houdon, Notes on Houdon Papers, and Notes.
Lewis was a longtime member of the Henry Clay Frick Fine Arts Department at the University of Pittsburgh, and later served as the Director the Frick Art Museum in Pittsburgh. Her files contain correspondence, research files on specific works by Houdon, notes regarding documents from the Houdon papers, and other research notes. Includes the notes of [Jacques]... de Caso on Helen Clay Frick’s manuscript The Life of Jean Antoine Houdon as Revealed Through his Unpublished Correspondence, and Lewis’s comments on those notes.
