Series II: Hyacinth Rigaud, 1950-1987

The Hyacinth Rigaud material was created and collected by a colleague of Wunder's, George Van Derveer Gallenkamp. Wunder received Gallenkamp's extensive research files regarding Rigaud as a bequest. The bulk of the material consists of artwork files containing photographs, provenance information, and correspondence. Also included are Gallenkamp's writings on the topic of Rigaud, including various articles, his thesis, and the beginnings of a catalogue raisonn├®. Additionally, the series contains correspondence, subject files, printed material, notes and other research material. Various Gallenkamp material not related to Rigaud is found at the end of the series.
