Series I: Construction
Series
Scope and Content Note
Materials in this series, dating from 1903-1911, consist of correspondence, proposals, contracts, and other items documenting the construction of the house, stables, and other outbuildings. Of particular interest is Frick's correspondence with the architects, Little & Browne, concerning pricing, the selection of materials, design decisions, and construction progress. This series also contains specifications from the Aeolian Co. for the installation of a pipe organ, as well as specifications for more general construction, including heating, plumbing, and interior finishes. A cost analysis of the entire project can be found at the beginning of the series.
Arranged alphabetically by file type.
