Scope and Content Note
Chiefly snapshots of friends, family, and pets taken at Westmoreland Farm during the period of 1930-1933. People depicted include Adelaide Frick Blanchard; Frances Frick Burden; Martha Frick Symington ("Marsie"); Henry Clay Frick II; Malvina Hoffman; Sam Grimson; Frederick Mortimer Clapp; Pauline Wells; Lea Danesi; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Fellows Platt; Gertrude Hill; Rita Frew Rowland; Katherine McCook Knox; [Ethel?] Lindsay; Elsie McClintock Nicol; Ditta Grottanelli; Nona Whitney; a FARL staff outing; Ann Barretto; and members of the Rappleye, Turner, St. John, Fosburgh, and McLeod families. Photos show some exteriors of the main house and outbuildings, images of the empty lake and rebuilding of the dam, the groom's cottage, and alterations to certain buildings, including a fire that destroyed the barn and renovations to the stable. Includes a handful of photos taken at "Clayton," the home of Childs Frick in Roslyn, N.Y.
