Scope and Content Note

Written on back: "The Family of Claude Monet at Giverny. Claude Monet is man standing, w dark beard. The woman is the second wife of Monet (Mme. Hoschedé) the three girls are her daughters (Hoschedé) the step-daughters of Monet. One of whom, Suzanne, married an American, Theodore E. Butler. The two seated young men are the Americans Breack and Taylor. Mrs. Slatkin thinks that the young man at the extreme right may be T.E. Butler."
